Pakistan's Mohammad Nawaz says that he is focused to perform as an all-rounder for the national side.

The left-armer made these comments after being awarded the player of the match in the second ODI against the Netherlands for bagging three wickets. "My focus is to perform as an all-rounder for my team, whether it comes to batting. I try to give my 100%.

Nawaz stepped up at the most crucial juncture of the game to break the 109-run stand between Tom Cooper and Bas de Leede. The left-armer held on to a caught and ball to send Cooper back to the pavilion on 66. In the next over, the left-arm dismissed captain Scott Edwards with a ball that spun away from him.

When asked about his bowling performance, the 28-year-old maintained that batters do try to come after him but this gives him a chance to pick wickets.

"I think sometimes it's a little bit difficult because once batters face 90 mph bowlers they do come after me. Sometimes it's good as well because if I bowl in the good area so it means I can get wickets," said Nawaz.

Pakistan breezed to a seven-wicket win over the Netherlands in the second one-day international in Rotterdam on Thursday to complete a series victory.
