Pakistan batter Haider Ali has been discharged from the hospital after he had picked up a viral illness, it was stated in a press release by the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Ali was taken to the hospital following the end of sixth T20 international between Pakistan and England, where he stayed overnight and underwent further check-up.

According to the press release, the young batter is feeling better now and has reached the team hotel.

England had thrashed Pakistan in yesterday's sixth T20I as Phil Salt smacked a rapid 41-ball 88 not out to help his side level the series 3-3.

The final match of the seven-match series will be played tomorrow (October 2) at Lahore's Gadaffi Stadium.
